1. Transgression - rebellion, setting one's self against the will and law of God.
2. Iniquity - perversity, crooked dealing
3. Sin - to err, to miss the mark, to fall short.
B. Specific 'types' of sin --

C. BUT all sin is sin!
Sin is Against GOD -
a. So said DAVID - Psalm 51:4 --
"Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight:
b. Sin is a transgression of GOD'S law -- not violation of social moray -
Sin tempts ALL -
a. Adam, David, Jesus, -- YOU --

c. SIN - the giving in to the temptation -- 'just say no' --
Sin begets more sin!

Sin will be condemned
of God.

confronted.

Sin gives occasion to
